Hello!
How easy is it to convert the board game rules to minis? Is it just a matter of converting the hexes to the appropriate inches on a table top setup?
Thanks

There is already a miniatures version of Panzer: Panzer Miniatures RulesThere are some differences, though. In the miniatures version, which is created for 1/285th scale miniatures, 1''=50m, whereas in the boardgame version, 1hex=100m. This influences in the range and movement ratings of the data cards, that are a bit different from one game to the other. But, if you have a look at the miniatures version and the boardgame version, the boardgame is very easily converted to a miniatures game. You have to use terrain hexes and everything will fit easily.

Thanks Gustav6
It's mainly comes down to me already owning Panzer and wanting to play on a mini's table mat and avoiding hexes. Already invested in the board game AND mini's. Rather avoid spending even more money on another of rules and new data cards.
If I'm not going to use hexes would I just half the ranges on the board game data cards since a hex =100 meters?

If you're going to use the Panzer boardgame rules with miniatures, consider 1''=100m, make a hexagonal template to determine hit angles, and use 60º turns. That should work.

What about adjustments to the data cards? Leave them be? Or is your suggestion of 1"=100m all I need to do and NO adjustments to the data cards? Thank you for taking the time to explain this.

I swore I saw somewhere online where someone had such a template. Trying to find that again as I'm visually trying to figure out how that template looks.
Thanks Gustav6
