Could Fen Yan's Panzer rules summary be used for MBT or is there to much different between the two?
thanks all,

For the most part, they are compatible, but you will miss some important rules in MBT that are not present in Panzer: ATGMs, additional artillery ammo, helicopters... Besides, there are some rules that change number between the two rulesets.

Thanks for the reply. One thing that got me confused in MBT was the Over watch Adjust modifier. I know now that it only applies to the Turreted and Turreted 360 vehicles who fired outside a 60 degrees field of fire and the Non Turreted vehicles could not fire outside of their 60, 120 or 180 degrees fields of fire. But on page 15 of the MBT basic game rules it states Overwatch Adjust/CIS " If the firing vehicle is executing overwatch fire at a target located outside of its Front (or Rear) 60, 120, or 180 Field-Of-Fire - the modifier is -3. So why state its -3 outside the 120 and 180 when Non Turreted vehicles can not Overwatch fire outside 120 and 180 anyway?

Rule 4.4.3.2.2: Overwatch Adjust/CISIf the firing vehicle is executing Overwatch Fire at a target located outside of its Front (or Rear) 60°, 120°, or 180° Field-of-Fire—the modifier is –3. Only Turreted and Turretless 360° vehicles may execute Overwatch Fire at target vehicles located outside of the firing vehicle’s Front (or Rear) Field-of-Fire. If it is equipped with a Commander Independent Sight (see 7.48)—the modifier is –2. I think this rule is pretty clear. Nevertheless, make sure you're reading the last version of the rules: MBT Basic Rules (Aug 2017)

Thanks Gustav for the reply. As you state above, ONLY Turreted and Turreted 360 vehicles may execute Overwatch Fire at target vehicles located outside of their 60 Degrees Front (or Rear)Field of Fire. Just thought there was no reason for the rule book to state "If the firing vehicle is executing Overwatch Fire at a target located outside of its Front (or Rear) 60°, 120°, or 180° Field-of-Fire the modifier is -3" when that -3 will never be used for units firing outside their 120 and 180 fields of fire because they can't anyway. Hope you understand what I am stating.
