My name is Fernando. I was born in Munich, Germany, but I'm Spaniard.
I began wargaming in 1993, when I purchased Panzer Leader. I played it to death with a friend and, although it's not a perfect game, I really appreciate it, as it was my gate to the wargaming world.
I like and play tactical games, such as Panzer Leader, Panzerblitz, Squad Leader, Advanced Squad Leader (SK), Conflict of Heroes, AH's MBT and IDF... and, of course, Panzer, 2nd. Ed.
I am also an air gamer. I like Air Force, Dauntless, the Fighting Wings series, RAF, Luftwaffe, the Down in Flames series (GMT version) or the Leader series from DVG.
From time to time I play some operational games. I enjoyed The Russian Front when I purchased it in the mid 90s, but I cannot play anything more complicated than the Standard Combat Series nowadays. It's a matter of brain overheating.
I'm an Artillery Captain, and a Primary School English Teacher. I'm married and have four children, three boys and a girl.
Welcome to everybody and feel free to introduce yourselves!

Hi, first I want to thank Fernando for creating this forum. My name is Oliver, I'm from Germany, married and I have two kids, both are boys. I am an egineer for townplanning and have a strong interest in history.
My first wargame was Tank Leader Eastern Front which I bought during my first trip to London back in 1987. Later I started playing Squad Leader and the first gamette, Cross of Iron. That must have been in 1990. I switched to ASL and two modules, Beyond Valor and West of Alamein. Unfortunatetly I lost my only opponent then and took a long break from wargaming until 2005. Since then my collection expanded a bit. I play mostly tactical games: GBOH, GBACW and Musket&Pike, Battles from the Age of Reason (BAR); La Bataille, ATS, some stand alone games and of course, Panzer. The only opearational game I played and still own is the East Front series "Barbarossa" and I recently bought Unconditional Surrender. Together with Clash of Monarchs, these are my only strategical level games. I quit ASL some years ago and retired from ATS. Still like the system,...but that`s another story. I hope more Panzer players will join this forum!

Hi, my name is Hans and I live in The Netherlands.
Married, two kids. I work as a claims handler at a small insurance broker.
Started boardwargaming with AH's D-Day '77 and SPI's Arnhem.
Have played ATS and have now turned to ASL(SK). I like all kinds of games, but my period of preference is WWII.
Own ASL(SK), CoH, and many more games, and also like games about the air war.
I do a lot of proofreading for several game companies, and also write for a couple of magazines.

Hi, my name is Carlos. I live in Málaga, Spain. I'm married, and have a daughter. I work as solicitor. I began wargaming in the late 80's with games like War&Peace and TP Stalingrad, and the games "Rommel y Montgomery", "La Guerra de las Malvinas"... of the dissapeared spanish company NAC. After a long pause I retook the hobby four years ago, and since then I play CCE, CoH, Fighting Formations, Panzer, No Question of Surrender, and have purchased ASL, but I must get more into the rules of this one to give it a try. At the strategic level I play HIS, Paths of Glory, No Retreat, Napoleón against Europe amongst others. I would be available to play Panzer via Vassal.

Hi, my name is Carlos. I am from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
I play wargames since 1975, starting with Afrika Korps ans Stalingrad, both form AH. Since then, and until 1994 I played every wargame I managed to put my hands on. Then I took a break from gaming unitl 2005. I restarted with ATS, and now have a lot of GMT games, among many, many, old games from companies like AH, SPI, TSR, GMT, DVG, Critical Hit, etc...
I have Panzer and the 3 expansions, had even translated the Panzer basic rules for (Brazilian) Portuguese, but have never really played the game.
I cannot say where I work because, then, I would have to kill you all, and that would be very expensive and time consuming.
I would like to play via VASSAL, but I never know with an advance of more than 1 or 2 days when I will be available, so...

I already looked there. By the way, you can upload my translation to your site, Rodger and Jim said I could distribute it.

Just stumbled upon your site looking for new Panzer scenarios. Looks great well designed. BIG fan of Ogre ODE but first love was always East Front WWII. BTW is there any login or register form? Couldn't find one.

I own the game and the expansions but no experience playing them. Tank games are my favorites.

Welcome to the forum.
By the way, try the first scenario of the base game. You'll learn how to place commands and how to fire with your tank. It's easy and addictive.

Hi Everyone: My name is Nadir Elfarra. I've been a war-gamer since before I was a teen-ager (just a LITTLE older than that now ). My first connection to the Panzer series was the AH release of MBT & IDF. I helped play-test the GMT version of MBT and was so taken with it that I picked up GMT's entire Panzer series. I've been working on an "historical" Panzer map and battles (Western front, 1944) that I hope to have ready for play-testing later this year. If there are any Panzer (or MBT) pushers in the greater Los Angeles area, please drop me a line! -N
